Since the 1.12a installation I mentioned should be a legitimate version of the game, I thought it shouldn't be a problem to speak of and I figure it's a real problem if everyone who only has the new client has this issue. Characters played for two hours or more will expire after 90 days of inactivity. Newly created characters will expire after 10 days of inactivity.
I know it's against the rules to name non-supported mods, and I don't want to unintentionally bait anyone into saying anything that will get them in trouble. Multiplayer Diablo II (2000) characters expire if they are inactive for too long. In my standard Battle.Net install, those didn't even exist. For one thing, it actually has the Game.exe and patch_d2.mpq that the TrenShadow guide required to create a 1.14d folder (to have access to both and 1.14d Single Player with RWM).
One thing I noticed with the 1.12a install compared to the current BNet install, is that the D2 directory looks very different. Hello I just bought a fresh set of CD-keys for both Diablo 2 and LOD. I wiped my standard D2 installation, and tried using that 1.12a install, and it seems to run 1.07 like it's supposed to. Click to expand.I had the same problem.īefore I came here, I had been trying to set up a different way to play older patches.
